Here’s a news flash, it’s sweltering outside! Here in New Orleans we’ve got the kind of heat that feels like a wool blanket fresh out of the steam room. And we don’t blame you a bit if you don’t want to hit the streets with a piping hot cup of coffee. Fortunately, your friends at Mammoth Espresso have a deep (and I mean deeeeep) roster of iced drinks to keep you cool this summer.

Our iced espresso beverages include: latte, vanilla latte, mocha, dirty chai (try this with housemade almond milk … holy cow) and the Americano, which is available with our Third Coast blend or rotating single origin espresso.

Over on the pour over bar, we have five rotating coffees precision brewed by the cup. Any pour over coffee can be brewed as an iced coffee, and we’ll feature new coffees as they come in. You can see our current pour over offering here: http://mammothespresso.com/current-coffee-lineup/

We also have stellar iced options for our tea fans. Peruse our menu of 14 different teas and select from white, green, oolong, black or herbal tisanes. Each tea is brewed by the cup, and many options are suitable for multiple steeps (and yeah, this is complimentary) so ask your barista when making a selection.

Sweet Little Thing – A doubleshot of Third Coast espresso combined with vanilla, half and half and Bittermens Burlesque bitters. Cold shaken and served in a rocks glass, Sweet Little Thing is a refreshing pick-me-up ideal for a New Orleans summer.

Summer Tonic – Our Third Coast or single origin espresso poured atop Fever Tree tonic water. A light, breezy refreshment with hints of citrus and chocolate. Served in a highball glass so you can feel all fancy.

The Sparkling Granato – The ruby slipper of tea drinks, the Sparkling Granato is a crisp, bubbly tisane (herbal tea) featuring a blend of rose petal, hibiscus, raspberry leaf and a touch a ginger. Served slightly sweetened with a slice of lime.

We’ve got an iced cold drink option to please every palate, so drop by and take a break from the summer heat.
